Events at LiA :: 3-9 July

Dear Life in Africa members, here is an update of the activities that are and will be happening at your LiA this coming week;
Monday: i4c advanced class at 10am.

Tuesday: strategy meeting at 3pm, Adult education classes at 2:30pm

Wednesday: JUNGLE BEADS PRODUCTION all day, i4c class at 10am 3pm, Rules& Regulations meeting, Education classes for children, Member Banana Benefits meeting at 3:30pm

Thursday: Integrated Adult class in English and Nutrition at 2:30pm

Friday: microfinance meeting, MDD rehearsals(Talent Discovery)at 3pm

Saturday: Beading event and kids crafts making from 9am to 2pm.

Arnold still needs alot of banana fibres to be able to fill the order for balls whose deadline is 7th of July. Any help with this is highly appreciated - You will be rewarded with bananas!

In the month of July, the education team is planning to start basic computer classes, continue with the English and Nutrition classes, organize MDD rehearsals every Friday.

Leadership training is also in the pipeline and members will be duly informed when this actually kicks off.

Next week's we center activities

Greetings to all Life in Africa members:

Dear LiA members. I would like to let you know that activities done at We center Kampala are now announced regularly on this blog so please always find out for your visits and participation.

The program will therefore, go as follows:

On Monday 26th at 3:00pm, the advanced i4c team will meet to start creating a simple new savings program that works through sales of jungle beads on member pages. If you have a webpage already, talk to your i4c agent about this new feature.

On Tuesday at 3:00 we shall have a strategy meeting with the newly elected and outgoing team leaders to lay out plans for this season. Any & all members are welcome to attend this discussion.

On Friday, the talent discovery group meets at 3:00pm to dance. There will also be a micro finance meeting for anyone who wishes to find out more about participating in the LiA community guaranteed lending program.

Saturday will be a busy day with paper bead lessons and production beginning at 9am. Kids who are part of the new LiA member kids savings plan will also be at the center making crafts.

You are there fore invited to come, visit and see, find out and even take part in the great activities at life in Africa.
